Looking for your next party hair and beauty combo?
The face of Rimmel London, Georgia May Jagger, has some ideas. Adding a start
struck statement earring doesn’t hurt either! Georgia May Jagger learned her
night out beauty routine from the best. “My mum (model Jerry Hall) loves
experimenting with makeup, changing her face in different ways,” says Jagger,
23. “She has a face that’s so good with makeup, you know?” When Jagger gets
ready for a glamour’s night out, home in London, she has a gorgeous and easy
routine: “Play some Wu-Tang, pour a glass of wine, and sit in front of the
mirror with all my makeup.” Her new tip, she says, is applying powder shadow on
eyes, and then putting lip balm on top. “It makes the creamiest eye shadow,”
she says. Want to get her style for yourself? Check out how to rock this party

Glittery Red Lip: What
is old is new again! This statement is so true, especially when it comes to
your makeup. That shinny lip has been all over Instagram and copying it has
been a challenge. Not everyone knows the true secret to doing it just right. To
get that 70s glam kind of thing, first, use your favourite lip colour; a satiny
finish has the perfect amount of stick for the glitter. (Try Mac’s Rebel lipstick, it has this satin light
finish with a show stopping vibe.) Or a matte finish can also do the trick
quite nicely, (Mac’s Russian Red lipstick matte finish is so
breathtaking.) Next, choose a fine glitter (Make Up Forever Glitter) works well – the
trick is to use the pad of your finger to press the glitter onto your lips. “I
use orangey gold, “she says, but you could try pink or violet. The options are
endless.” The style can really draw attention to your face in such a positive
way. If you want a unique shinny look, experimenting with different shades and
textures can really brighten up your complexion.
Sculpted Rosy Cheeks: The
retro 40’s and 70s brought the just blushing cheeks to envy. To modernize the
style, pair creamy bronzer (Rimmel London’s Good to Glow Highlighter in Soho Glow)
and brick red-blush. They used powder back then, so cream formulas are your
newer alternative. They feel more natural as if it was your own skin. Apply
bronzer on the apples of your cheeks, throw a gorgeous smile, not only is a
smile the best medicine for your soul, it helps with the application! Blend the
darker blush onto the underside of your cheek bone. With cheek colour this
deep, keep lips soft with a peachy tone or if you are daring, try a fiery red
to shock your lippie system. A swipe of pencil eyeliner for upper and lower
lash lines cover a classic effect to the eyes.
Full Drama: For
that high impact 60s effect, hello Twiggy! Use an eyelash curler first on your
natural lashes, and then apply several coats of shock proof mascara. Once it is
dry, go in again with the wand holding it vertical and doing a back and forth
window washing movement. It gives off this controlled and dramatic effect! If
you wish to go a bit further. Using falsies is another option if you feel your
lashes are not as thick. If you wish for a supermodel 60s appeal then check out
(Rimmel London’s mascara) Who knew something
cheaper could be so effective!
Va Va Volume: To
get Jagger’s voluminous texture, first work into your hair a (Root Lifting Mousse), then twist small
sections of your hair into a small bun before your blow dry. Afterwards uncoil
the buns, then sprits with a spray wax to create a piecey separation. Jagger
flipped her hair to one side to nail the retro vibe, and –scene stealing show
of the night.
