When it comes to men’s fashion, we always look to the classic blazer as an essential. Even when retro style is making its way back into our lives. With 70s influence staying strong, it is no wonder we are seeing tailored pieces popping up at casual events.
As eye catching as a blazer can be. In the fashion realm we tend to find ourselves striving for something more.
Style changes in the blink of an eye, so why not come up with something new for the party. This can come off as bold since new can meet old if it complements the right dish well. In this case, it is your replacement for the tired classic blazer. Sometimes you need to hit the refresh button on your wardrobe and just try something different.
The idea of the sophisticated suit look from head to toe with casual trainers was a big hit at one point. Even the no socks thing, I feel it's had its day and we say goodbye. But to be completely honest, those just have a weak presentation. It wasn’t that fun and kind of felt mediocre at times. Even when they were spotted at Men’s Fashion Week a few times over.
You can still gather inspiration from the old and mix it to complement the new. All you need is to know where to start. Keep the classic concept, just add a bit more edge and less boring if you catch my drift. This is why men need to ditch the blazer in favour of a leather jacket.

Why? leather jackets have been alive and thriving since the 1960’s and you don’t have to be James Dean or Bridget Bardot to pull it off flawlessly.

Think of it this way, you just replace the blazer and wear everything you wore with it but instead swap it with a leather jacket.

What is great about this idea is how versatile a leather jacket can be. Plus, you end up feeling more modern with a cool factor mixed with maybe a tad bit of edge.

It just has a classic element without looking outdated and has a universal age as well. Globally, anyone can rock this concept and look pretty bad ass while doing it.
