What is iconic and most intriguing about shorts, is how it has been reinvented so many ways. And this can be the same said about denim jeans. We not only rock them casual, but with the best pairing and fun accessories, you can really make an incredible outfit with just your shorts. Some people find this item basic, or they aren’t quite certain how to really wear them right. That isn’t an issue since you don’t have to be a top stylist to really dress amazing in your own skin.

All you need to know are the basics. Fabric, fit, style, and of course versatility. When it comes to fabric, make sure you pick the material that is not only super comfortable but can work in any weather condition.

With fit, it is important to try on different variations of shorts and see which one fits for your body shape and frame. You want something flattering, so make sure not to buy a pair that is too tight or to lose. Find a happy medium and just see what feels right.

With style, you can easily find a great classic pair of shorts. I would recommend a denim pair because you can really get your money’s worth. When it comes to denim shorts you will be rocking them on repeat. And go high waisted since it is a classic and can be the most flattering on all body types. You can find a dressier pair of shorts and work it into a sleek and comfy sophistication. I love the idea of pairing dressy shorts with a relaxed blazer and heels or flats. You look instantly ready to be a boss lady at it’s finest. Plus, it just instantly looks chic.

If you work somewhere that is not as strict on your dress code. This style with the blazer and dressy shorts can be a nice sizzling summer alternative to your traditional suit trousers. You can even wear a leather jacket and shorts or be daring and try leather shorts for a fun and funky style to wear. Go with a nice feminine blouse and leather shorts with a clean faced appearance and convert the look to work for a day to night affair easily.
