5 Anti-Trend Handbags That Will Never Get Boring

5 Anti-Trend Handbags That Will Never Get Boring

The fashion industry can place a lot of weight on newness, with a constant quest for the next It thing, the next big designer, and the trend we'll be wearing in six, 12 or 18 months' time. We are, however, seeing a shift in how we think about shopping, with an emphasis on longevity and wearability over viral pieces. Building a wardrobe of classics can offer a more sustainable approach to how we see fashion.

This is why we spend much of our time highlighting the items we think will always rise high above trends, making them the perfect pieces to invest in and add to your capsule wardrobes. We can discuss the premium basics when it comes to autumn styling, but I think accessories are having a viral moment that we here at Bauchle Fashion can’t ignore.

These 5 Anti-Trend handbags will never get boring. Especially since they have character and style all on their own. I am going to break them down and how you need them in your life.

A designer handbag is a massive big purchase, and they tend to cost you thousands of pounds, euros, and even dollars. This can be intimidating when you start to question if they are even worth it. And in this case, it is important to make sure you are choosing a bag you know you’re going to love and treasure forever-one that’s not only practical but will fit nice and cosy in your existing wardrobe, and simply won’t be passé in a year or two. If you happen to be in a position to invest in a designer handbag, you’ll probably will want to put some thought into this decision.

Below I have done some cleaver research and compiled a few designer bags at various price points that are at the height of being incredibly timeless and chic.

1. Givenchy Antigona Bag

Not only is this bag such a classic, but it just has a cool girl vibe. And in a way it is sort of a grab and look stylish handbag. And it helps that so many fashionable people can still rock this bag as if it is a new style. Pair it with a classic biker jacket and be ready for a fun time in the city. This bag is just stunning and has a real edge.

2. Louis Vuitton Speedy 30

All I can picture in my head is Heidi from MTV’s hit reality show The Hills, going into Bolt-house with her Louis Vuitton Speedy. Now granted hers was smaller than the 30. But this casual bag has stayed chic all these years. And with the Y2K Bags trending, why not make it a classic in your collection. Not everyone likes a canvas bag but it has this iconic logo and design that you instantly recognise it. You can wear it casual to the office, or even shopping during the day and rock it with an evening dress for a polished look. Think Audrey Hepburn in Charade for reference.

3. Chanel Vintage Jumbo XL Flap Bag

Now before you judge me…here me out, Chanel is a classic brand we know and adore. However, I am not personally a fan of most of them. I have personally owned a few and sold them throughout my collection of handbags journey for many reasons. But if I have to pick one handbag from this brand it would be a vintage classic jumbo lx flap bag. Why? because it is not only stunning to look at but it has so many amazing features. Number one, it is better made than the new handbags by Chanel today. Number two, it is from the iconic chic 90s era where fashion used to be fun, flirty, and glamorous, which we are missing in todays industry. And you can fit stuff actually in this bag what a bonus. You get three bags in one for the money. Shoulder bag, Long Shoulder bag, and a crossbody. The only downfall is the price. It is not reasonable for everyone but it is an investment. And you can instantly feel dressed up by simply wearing this bag outside.

4. Gucci Soho Disco Bag

I don’t care about the Marmont collection. It looks so cheap by Gucci, at one point people were saying it resembled the Cover Girl logo. You know that is shade to the max when you hear something like that. The hardware is cheap and so is the tasteless leather. The Gucci soho on the other hand, is the perfect iconic Gucci GG logo and a simple crossbody design. What I love is it comes in a variety of colours especially on the resale market. And you can get it in different leathers. Like, suede, calfskin, and even patent leather. I think this bag is like a must in your collection. It can be instantly chic without trying to hard. And you can wear it with just about anything to transform your daily outfit. And it just feels like an iconic design, so you won’t feel like your wearing an outdated bag.

5. Celine Box Bag

I don’t know what it is about the Celine box bag that I absolutely love. It is so sleek, so new, so chic, and iconic all in one sentence. You could wear a pair of jeans, jumper, boots, and rock this bag on your shoulder and just have a look of power. I think it is the do everything bag. You could wear this on any occasion and just look amazing. But that is what Celine does for us anyway. I mean who doesn’t own a pair of kick ass Celine sunglasses. Well, this box bag has its own magic that makes us happy. You can wear this in a all black monochromatic wardrobe and still look like the coolest person who entered the room. And if you don’t want a classic black one, they do have other colours.
