Every great wedding has come from a very carefully planned list. Lists are necessary when planning your big day so you don’t miss anything. The last thing you want to do is walk down the aisle when you do haven’t the right music or shoes to go with your dress. There are simply too many little details to remember all at once. Grab a lovely notebook and maybe even a wedding scrapbook to keep cutouts of things you want or need. A scrapbook is also a lovely way to remember your wedding as you can look back over it in years to come.

When you have sorted the venue, date, and time of your wedding you must get the invites out. Try and give people plenty of notice, especially if your wedding falls on a weekday. People will need to book time off work or arrange babysitters for their children if they aren’t bringing them to the wedding. There are a few options when it comes to wedding invitations, you can send paper ones or digital versions. Paper ones are always the more personal option as you can create whatever you want in different prints and styles.

Don’t Run Out Of Time

It can be confusing working out the perfect wedding planning timeline in the run-up to the big day. Do you get the dress before arranging the catering, and how much notice do you have to give to the baker for your cake? It can be useful to take a look online if you are unsure of the right order to do things. Of course, there is no right or wrong answer but it can sometimes be helpful to see what has worked for other couples.
