I had the pleasure to get to know the chic artist behind the unique portraits in this fun interview.


Heather Lisa Noire (BF) What inspired you to do the kind of art you do?

Caroline has always loved to write so much that she decided to pursue a Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting. Being an accomplished award winner for an edited screenplay, which won awards at Barcelona, New York, and Vancouver film festivals. The care free spirit of the art world is her point of inspiration through festival and life.

Being a world traveler doesn’t hurt either, her known influences with many cultures, architectures, and design, all over Europe makes this fashionista beaming with style. Experimenting with designing storefronts for boutique bags and accessories store in the Toronto shopping district.

He’s a self-taught photographer, who got involved in the vivid world of high fashion, editorial, and conceptual style, when his father bought him a DSLR camera he was rearing for imaging. BF: How did you get your start in photography?

BF: What makes your creativity thrive?


DM: I don’t think I look at creativity as a thing. I don’t know if it’s something that has to be catered to, or pampered. I think of creativity as a solution to a problem. But if your asking how I stay inspired, then I’d have to say it’s sort of involuntary. I create because I don’t know what else to do. Some days you don’t feel inspired and you search for inspiration in the work of others. I can read a great piece of writing and decide to write something myself. Or see a movie. I can see a great photograph and that will inspire me to want to shoot something myself. Books, Magazines, You Tube, Pinterest. There is such a ridiculous world of content out there. Any style, any execution you can imagine. Almost endless, you always have to decide how to take that inspiration and make it your own.

For the Spring/Summer 2015 ready-to-wear accessories, Karl Lagerfeld came out swinging, blasting out a younger approach with wild nights and classy glam.


The piece that truly stood out to me in the entire collection was the Lambskin Gold Rocker Jacket! Nothing says conversation piece then a truly outrageous accessory. It was styled with a lace black skirt and a jersey top blouse for a dressy date night appearance. Seeing the jacket in the show was just fabulous! But actually getting to see the gold winner in person was the icing on the cake. I have this love affair with Chanel because of how each item is a class act in itself. If you are brave and desire to be a tad bolder, try pairing the gold look with matching gold jeans. This jacket can be dressed up or down for a shining out of the crowd style.
